- Do I need a special driving license to drive a motorhome?No special license is required, as all our vehicles are under 3,500kg GVW and can be driven with a standard car license! We accept drivers between 30 & 79 years old. If you have more than 3 points on your license please contact us before booking!
We accept licenses from the Isle of Man, UK, EU, US, Australia, and Canada, provided the driver complies with Manx laws. If you hold a foreign driving license, Manx law allows you to drive for up to 12 months without the need for an International Driving Permit (IDP) for most of these countries. After this period, an exchange may be necessary if you’re staying longer. It’s advisable to review any specific Manx requirements if you’re visiting from outside the EU or other listed countries.
- What is the minimum rental period for our vehicles?It’s 3 nights for most of the year but 5 nights in our busy season (June/July/August/Christmas).
We may occasionally offer 2 nights to fill in the gaps between other bookings so keep an eye on our deals page.
- Are pets allowed?Absolutely! We welcome your well-behaved furry friends, but since only one of our motorhomes is pet-friendly, please be sure to select our pet-friendly (PF) vehicle during booking. We know how important it is to bring your pet along for the adventure, and we’ll make sure you and your pet have a fantastic and comfortable stay with us!
- What is the process for picking up and returning the motorhome?You’ll collect and return the motorhome from our base at Rosehill Farm, located here on Google Maps. We provide a full walkthrough during pick-up to ensure you’re comfortable with the vehicle. When returning, just bring it back to the same location, and we’ll take care of the rest!
- Is insurance included in the rental, and what does it cover?Yes, insurance is included for drivers between 30 and 70 years old! If you have more than 3 points on your license, please contact us before booking. Our full insurance policy is available on request.
- What happens if I have a breakdown or need roadside assistance?We’ve got you covered with 24/7 roadside assistance throughout your trip, ensuring any issues are dealt with quickly.
- Can I take the motorhome off the Island, and are there any additional fees?Yes, you can take the motorhome off the Isle of Man. There are no additional fees for travel to the UK or Europe, making it hassle-free!
- How does the booking and cancellation process work?Booking is quick and easy via our website. Just select your pick-up date, choose how many nights you’d like to stay, and then enter your details. A deposit is required to confirm your reservation. If you need to cancel, please refer to our terms and conditions for details on cancellation fees and policies.
- What amenities and features do your luxury motorhomes come with?Our motorhomes are fully equipped with modern amenities including huge king-size beds, kitchen, shower, and entertainment options like TV and WiFi and USB ports, providing you with all the comforts of home on the road. And for the driver, you’ll find everything you’d expect of a modern vehicle like touch-screen apps and motorhome specific sat-nav.

- Where can I stay in the motorhome?The Isle of Man offers a variety of beautiful spots to stay in your motorhome. From official campsites with full facilities like electric hook-ups, showers, and waste disposal to more rustic, remote locations, there’s something for everyone. Some popular motorhome-friendly sites include:
- Glenlough Campsite near Union Mills, a family-friendly site with full amenities.
- Peel Campsite, which is close to the beach and Peel Castle.
- Niarbyl Bay and Ballaugh Curraghs offer more scenic, quieter options if you’re after a peaceful stay surrounded by nature.
Be sure to book your spot in advance, especially during peak season, and always check the campsite’s specific rules for motorhomes.
Additionally, our motorhomes are designed to run ‘off-grid’ for several days without needing a hook-up. If used sensibly, the motorhome can run for weeks without requiring an external power source, making it perfect for more remote, adventurous stays. This gives you the flexibility to explore beyond the usual spots while still enjoying the comfort of our luxury vehicles.
